Cooling tower EC fan energy‑saving retrofit carries out overall upgrade and replacement targeting drawbacks of conventional cooling‑tower fans with belts and reducers: high energy consumption, frequent failures, loud noise and incapability of speed regulation.
The original asynchronous motor, belts and reducer transmission assemblies are removed and replaced with EC outer‑rotor permanent‑magnet direct‑drive axial fan modules, featuring ultra‑simple structure without mechanical transmission loss.
Built‑in intelligent drive module supports 0‑10V/PWM stepless intelligent speed regulation. Fan rotating speed can be adjusted automatically according to cooling‑water temperature and ambient temperature to realize on‑demand heat dissipation and peak‑shift energy consumption reduction.
The fan adopts high‑precision dynamic balance, delivering low vibration and low‑noise operation, and eliminates common faults such as belt slipping, abnormal noise and wear.
After retrofit, belts and reducers require zero lifetime maintenance, greatly cutting equipment O&M costs and shutdown risks. It is applicable for energy‑saving upgrade of various legacy industrial and central‑HVAC cooling towers.
